Welcome to Lucy In July! My name is Alex, and I started this blog after my beloved rescue pup, Lucy, crossed the rainbow bridge. She was there every step of the way with me, living with my parents for a year after college, buying my first house, a year of renovations on that house, and finally moving out on our own 2 years after our journey started, just the two of us. I spent basically every free minute planning my renovation, my finances, how I was gonna stay in shape and stay social and stay on top of my 9-5. In the process, I’ve found ways to continue to make new friends, make time for my hobbies, and most importantly stay mostly afloat (we all get into funks of one kind or another, it happens!) and want to share what I found worked for everyone out there who is spending every night reading, nesting, manifesting that next step for themselves.
